How's the fishing at Dworshak? - forgiven - 05-17-2009
I'm going up to Orofino to visit my folks and will probably fish Dworshak with my Dad. Anybody heard anything? Smallmouth? Kokes? Trout?

It might be a little early for the Bass and there are NO reports that I have found in that area. Ever.
Too much big water and remote.
Hit it anyway..place is huge and as you know.....no one (well almost no one..... there might be 5 boats within 70 miles) is ever over there.

I am from Orofino. I have pulled hundreds of little smallies out of Dworshak. The last three (I think) state record smallies have come out of Dworshak. There are some Dworshak vids on Youtube if you search for it.

Hit the Dworshak link on the left menu and be in awe. There are some beasts up there and they catch them year around. That place is amazing.
