A few friends and I are lookin to go to the James River to do some cat fishing and just was woundering if anyone can give us any tips at what type of bait we should use. Any tips and info would be welcomed from anyone. Thank you.

ya cant hardly go wrong with a nice big fat crawler,
a nice big shad, and dogh balls are good as well,
you can pick up comercial made dogh balls or make your own.

lol thanks dave those were some i was thinkin of usin just was woundering on anything else but the basics it seems like to me. as you also can tell i live in wv and fishin there and holdin a non resident license for va lol the benifits of where i live lol great fishin any direction i go lol.
