<br /> Hey im 17 and just bought my first fishing boat from my neighbor, he helped me out alot learning everything and giving me a great deal on the boat. Its a 14ft cherokee with a Johnson 40hp, Eagle fishfinder/gps, nice trolling motor. Its perfect for me! I took it out on WT for the first time today with my dad we had some trouble finding some shallow spots but eventually landed in a good little cove. It was my dads first time using a bait casting rod, he was trying to untangle it with his lure in the water and a bass jumped on but it got away before he could get it hooked well. My final cast of the night landed me a nice little bass. Great way to end the night.
