catch 1, Upper "G", Smallmouth, 5/12/09, Alone - FishNews - 05-13-2009
Fished the upper "G" this morning looking for spots and SM. Started out throwing tubes. It was real slow for me today. Picked up a drop shot rigged with a Berkley Realistic minnow and caught a few spots. A good SM hit the drop shot as soon as it hit the water taking line with him got him turned and he decided to jump,cleared the water bout 2 feet and threw the drop shot. Looked to be at least 5lbs. Made a few more cast and hooked up with another nice SM on the drop shot. I finally landed this one it was long and lean. Weight 5lb. 4 oz. TVA was flowing 35Kcfps Water still stained.
