Rockport Bass - jmccracken - 05-08-2009
Well I was tubing the inlet and not doing to good last night so i decided to kick in and go to a different spot on the lake and caught this sucker in the weber in the last set of rapids right before it joins the lake..One of those freak accidents I guess. Hopefully the bass will be picking up soon..they are fun to bring in on a fly rod

That's a pretty nice one, especially for Rockport. I've had some really great summer evenings just fishing off the dam catching smallies and perch nonstop on leech and crayfish patterns. That's a fun little reservoir.
