Today I was deemed worthy/skilled/lucky enough to take my girlfriend Callie fishing for almost the first time, at least the first time in freshwater, and after having my fears about not being able to get bait because to the insane water flow below the dam calmed by two full throws of the cast net we went to our fishing spot and Callie almost embarrassed me by catching more than I did, I was saved only by a too hard cast of her last shad which came flying off and the contest ended with a tie of 2-2. Only one fish got it's picture taken and
ly I was holding it because Callie lost her first one when she tried to pull it up out of the water using just the rod and then I took over on the next one to make sure she'd get a picture taken with it and lost that sucker even though I handled it like Master Angler Simons did when he trained for his guide trips by doing all of the work and lipping fish for me when we fished together. SO, the only picture is of my ugly face, sorry!
