CJ Sturgeon Report - BMURR - 05-04-2009 Well I finally made it to CJ the first time this year. It was supposed to be a warm, sunny day. It ended up being a cool, breezy, overcast day. We started fishing around 8am. No bites, and some moss for the first 2 hours. We proceeded to move up stream a mile or so to another hole. We tossed out, the wind stopped, and we started to see some bites. All 3 poles were getting hit at one point or another during the first 15 minutes. I swung and missed on one, and my buddy did also. After that, the wind picked up and we only got one other bite until we left at 3 pm. We did have a really hard time holding the boat in place. We only had 1 anchor and we were in a huge jet boat. Overall it was a fun trip. I feel like I deserved a skunk trip since my last two have been awesome. Now I need to get back out there, I'm due!
