I'm going to NW Arkansas (Ozark mountains) in a couple of weeks to try some trout fishing. I am totally new to trout fishing so if anyone can tell me what tackle and bait to use and some techniques I would appreciate it!

are you gonna be fly fishin. or bait fishin. if you are bait fishin then the best thing that i can tell you is night crawlers. that is good old faithful around here. also mepps spinners work great for rainbows and brown. well really any trout. and if you are goin for browns i suggest usin Countdown Rapala from size 5 to 11 dependin on the average size of the fish
