silverwood - kzilla02 - 06-15-2003 Just got home from silverwood again , the bite is unbelievable . Went out twice today , the first time was when the gates opened (at 600 am ) . Fished off the shore for less than two hours and landed two largemouth bass , one over 5 lbs . My buddy and I went back in our float tubes and landed four more , each . The Bass are very active right now on almost all shore lines . Talked to a group that landed over 15 striper and 5 trout just east of Cleghorn canyon . Like I said before , the fishing is going off right now . Hope to see you all out there. [signature] Re: [kzilla02] silverwood - lonehunter - 06-17-2003 GREAT ! WHEN THE DAM GATES ARE OPENED HERE THE BIG FISH SHOOT UP THE RIVERS TO THE SPILLWAYS , THATS WHERE I GET THE BIG ONES AT . Hello LoneHunter, Silverwood is a Southern California Pay Lake, although there are areas you can fish without paying. [signature] |
