OUT4FUN, GUNTERSVILLE LAKE, BASS, 4/16/09 - FishNews - 04-24-2009 Fish a small club tourn. at Guntersville on Saturday. We won believe it or not. Water temp was 57 in the am: and 65 in the pm:. We caught 9 keeps between 7:30am: and 2:30pm: plus another couple of slicks. Best five was 16 1/2 lbs with big fish of 4.3 lbs.<br /> We fished the channel banks all day long and had it almost all to ourselves, seem like every one else was back in the coves and pockets. <br /> All fish came out of 3 foot of water. All caught on plastic's. We did notice that all of the fish we caught came where the bank was a gravel and or shell bottom. Nothing came off of rock bottom or clay bottom. We tried seveal other lures early in the am: but got on the the plastic bite early and stayed with it the rest of the day.....If it ain't broke don't finx it....<br /><br /> SORRY FOR THE LATE REPORT....FIRST TIME I'VE HAD A CHANCE TO SIT DOWN.
