Get Together Roll Call - Belasko - 04-17-2009
The 1st annual Idaho BFT get together votes are in. The location is Preston area the weekend of May 9th & 10th. What this thread is for is to get a count of people planning to attend and if possible, # of persons coming with you (i.e. family, friends, neighbors, strange persons you pick up on the way...). This way we can start to get an idea of how many people we'll need to plan on being there and by association how many campsites will be needed. Let's try to keep posts limited to actual head count information to keep it simple and if you need to change your count if you could just edit the original post it would make keeping track that much easier. Central Location is being looked into by some helpful members at this time.

I hope you guys get a bunch of people together and have fun. I already have plans to fish the Snake near coldwater for smallies that weekend. I can't pass up on a chance to fish with a guy that knows that area.
I was hoping the second week in June would win. I already marked my calendar for Preston on that weekend. I am hoping the water temp reaches the magic 64 degrees. I know its not going to happen by the second week in May.

SteelieNut, wife, kid, and dog will be there. As we get closer to the date I can find campsites with the capacity to hold the amount of trailers that will be coming....hopefully.[

i will be there with a tent more than likely unless i can get my trailor liveable by then. and i will be bringing my pontoon. my buddy might come down with me and bring his bass boat.

So far we have a rough estimate of 10-13+ people. I unfortunately have to be in Boise for my sisters Bridal shower weekend. Fortunately I'm going fishing during the shower with Lovemylavro and Jetcrafter! Not a total bust. Wish I was going to be there. Anyone else that's thinking of coming let us know!

i agree bad bad weekend for the get togather but thats what every one voted for. we had our options for other dates. i wanted it to be more at the end of may but the salmon run gets going then so...........................

In all honesty, like you said early on, there is no perfect date. There will always be a few people that have something going on and already scheduled. Hence the reason for the vote.

Looks like a one day trip for me instead of a camp out . The wife wants to be home for mothers day . So I will be down bright and early Saturday and stay until late afternoon . We should all meet at about 01:00 PM on the shore for lunch . So we can match the faces to the names . Curt G.
