Well, I am sure you got your report now. I was up there on Saturday and was fishing for bass. The water temp. is still a little too cold and the fishing was pretty slow by Brownlee standards. I had to cover a lot of water to find fish and I did not catch more than 2 fish off a single spot. All my fish came on a lipless crank. The water was pretty muddy. If the water would of been clearer I think the jerkbait bite would of been on. I was pre-fishing for a club tournament and would of had around 8 lbs for 4 fish.

Just got back from fishing Oxbow and Brownlee. Very slow fishing at both places. My partner caught a 17 and a half smallie and had a 5 fish limit at Oxbow on Saturday with just under 9 lbs and she won our paper tourney. First time she beat us old farts. She was really happy. We were both using a watermelon seed fluke.
On Sunday we fished our paper tourney at Brownlee and I managed to catch a 17 and three quarter smallie and had a 5 fish limit just over 9 lbs and won the tourney. We were using a red lipless crank and again a watermelon seed fluke.

It seems that not much is biting at Brownlee right now. I went to Steck Park on saturday night camping and we got 1 catfish and 1 nice crappie all night and all day with 5 poles out there between all of us.
