So my cousin called me after he got out of school and asked why we where not on the water. So i gave in even though it was windy and a bit chilled outside. Im glad i took him out it turned out to be a good day of fishin for the boy and me. We started out and went for about an hour and a half before we ran to a new spot. We fished in some water about twelve foot deep with a crankbait and about the third cast i was realin in one about 15 inches. My cousin decided he would put one on. he had never cought a fish on a crankbait before untill today so he was happy. We decided to run to another spot where the wind wasnt so bad but the water was a lot more shallow about 2 to 4 feet. I fished a jig and cought 4 within 15 min then one that went a lil over 3 pounds. My cousin then catches another about the same size. The day was late so we ran back to the crankbait spot and I ended my day with a very healthy four pounder. It was a great day to get out and catch some fish with the boy. emoToast
