Au Sable fishing report - lonehunter - 04-11-2009
Crowded today, not many fish .The 2 out of 3 that were cought from the dozens of fishermen were keepers . Spawn was the prefered bait , waxworms cought nadda .
The walleye are in but the season is closed , the suckers are showing up as well .

avoid the crowd have the whole river to your self ..just fish after dark...

any fish on the gravel ..any female lose yet..

No hens have been cought at all .
I did hear the Mi.D.N.R. is collecting eggs further downriver, at least that is what the scuttlebut is .
The main run has not started yet .

the run down here is half done alot of females already spawned out..still alot of fish in the river though
