BBass, CFF #2 Report - 2nd Place, Bass, 4/4/09, Jason - FishNews - 04-07-2009 <br /> Jason and i didnt know what to do and where to do it but it sure worked out in the end! <br /> <br /> We`started off fishing shallow in 1-3 feet of water for maybe the first 1hour then switching to deeper banks for another 30 minutes or so. We came to a place and hit a flat and we got #1 keeper in the boat. picked up a load of shorties and didnt feel too great about what we were doing at that moment. <br /> <br /> Ran a bit down river where we fished a point then trolled into some shallower water and started catching more shorties...finally, another keeper! Kept up with that pattern and had a limit within maybe 2 hours. Had 1 spaaaawt in the well and culled it...went on picking up a few more keepers and then pick up a bigger girl than our first. <br /> <br /> I guess we stayed at this pattern all day culling and throwing back fish til 2:30. <br /> <br /> Water Temp starting at 56 and ending at 60-61. Finesse fishing was the trick for us. A pattern I've been checking on for 2 weeks or better but today it finally unfolded giving me a Live Well PB at 19.01.emoDance Fish caught in anywhere from 3- 12 feet of water.
