Launched at Riverpark around 4:30pm lots of trailers and boats already out this evening. Went across and drifted from bridge down to Dupont landing, water temp was 56.6 and calm. First drift we caught 3 small spots on rattle traps. Then headed down to boat launches and caught two more small ones. About 7:00pm headed back up to bridge again and drifted again and John had a beautiful small mouth nail his favorite jerk bait. We weighed it and my scales showed 5lbs-2oz. I forgot to put tape measure to it. We enjoyed the picture session and released it for another day.
