Went out to try and find some bass... very windy.Fished in 5 to 15ft of water.... No real luck so we moved locations and started flipping a Lizard around some docks. I made a long cast down the front of a dock and WHAM! I thought i had hooked the bass of a lifetime..i knew it was a big fish. In all the chaos of trying to get the net I knocked my son's rod in the water. I quickly threw out a marker buoy and continued to get the fish in. What a monster drum! 10lber my personal best so far! Wish it was a bass but oh well i will take it. After we got the fish released i tied a big treble hook on and after 10 minutes i caught the rod on one of the eyes....WHAT LUCK emoDance .
