fisherpal2k, Chic, crappie, 4/02, Eddie - FishNews - 04-03-2009 <br /> Tried the chic again today, until the weather sent us home. Put in at HBSP around 8 and left at 4:30 when the rain started. Caught 1 bass and about 30 crappie. Didn't keep any as we were fun fishing today. I don't know what has happened to the fish but I couldn't find the bass today. Seems the weather has them messed up for me right now. Maybe we can do better next time.<br /> <br /> <br /> Ran up the lake and fished a couple of coves and found the crappie suspended in about 10 ft of water out from the docks. Couldn't find anything in close to structure at all. Seems they were backed off from everything and just suspended. Caught most on 1/32 and 1/16th oz curly tail grubs. Count them down to an 8 count and move them slow.
