I looked around for some bass with no luck, fishing with shad. I went ahead and tried fishing behind chatt state to try for some crappie. I was fishing stingers and assassins. I ended up with 5 yellow stripe, a tiny tiny spot, a hard fighting drum, and a nice crappie. Wish I hit a few more crappie, but I was happy having a few fish tug on the line.<br /><br />By the way, I saw a guy snagging white bass and crappie below the dam and throwing them on the bank. I went ahead and called the Warden asking them to check if it was ok to keep snagged fish. I noticed that all of his fish were biting out of their backs.
