Sorry for the late report, work has been crazy the last several months. But hey- finally got to go fish a little! We fished for a solid 4.5 hrs Sunday afternoon, trying to tempt crappie w/ minnows. The first 3.5 hrs passed w/o one bite. We tried spots all over the lake, @ all depths. Everybody was pretty frustrated. Finally Matt pulls up a good one outta nowhere--just in bare water. We were surprised to find 'em around no cover @ all. For the next hour (til dark) we managed 17 more. This was the best school of crappie I've ever found. The smallest were right at 10", and the biggest 3 were pushing 13". Ate GREAT that night. Enjoy the pics...
