BBass, Chickamauga, Bass - CBA REPORT, 3/21/09, Fluke - FishNews - 03-24-2009 As always, officers in CBA get very little sleep from Friday to TX day. I did manage to get in bed by 10 but its hard to get rest when you cant wait to hit the water for one of these.

We blasted off somewhere around 84 boats yesterday taking approx 20-25 minutes to get them all out of the park. Then Teddy and I hit the water.
We knew where to go and what to do but the previous 2 days pushed our fish way back. We did find them staging right where we thought they would be. Put 3 in the well within 20 minutes and the bite there just seemed to stop. Water temp around 55-/ Depth 8-10 feet.

After that we headed to some shallow areas and picked up #4 and 5. The pressure was off to have a limit so we tried to focus on finding a big fish. Unfortunately, i think Team Soddy had already got those in thier well! emoLaugh We ran a good ways up river and could buy a bite. After a few hours at that...we ran back down river and picked up several more keepers and culled one out.

XR50 and XR100s were the only thing we managed fish off of.

Teddy and I finished with 14.99 lbs....Someone could have sneezed over our bag (CHURLY ![]() ![]() |
