CRAZYHORSE, Riverpark, Drum, 03-23-2009, Too Tall - FishNews - 03-24-2009 Me and Too Tall skipped out of work early today and headed to the riverpark after some smallmouth. Bass that is. We found one of those and about 5 spots, and then realized something......we just aren't very good bass fishermen. I don't see how you guys do it. I casted like 300,000 times for 4 fish, and they were way to small. We finally headed right below the turbines and preceded to catch a bunch of huge drum. That was a blast on light line. I know a lot of people don't like to catch them, but i like to catch anything that pulls hard. i had one take me fron the the end of the pier well below the rr bridge before I got him in, and he made a ton of hard runs. We were catching them on every drift on shiners. We also caught one pretty good channel cat. no pics, but i guess you guys already know what drum look like.<br /><br /><br />anyhow, till next time!<br />Crazyhorse
