Went out to enjoy the nice weather in the vicinity of the nuke plant and found once again that the catfishing is at a standstill. NO fish today. They just aren't there. I'm not getting any tiny taps from the small cats either. So I wandered around the channel edges for a couple of hours instead and marked brush and structure and minor creek beds, etc., for future use. I have NO idea about where the cats have gone - this happens a couple of times a year and makes me nuts!!!!!!! Plenty of shad, just nothing to feed them to. Ya think they all locked through to Watts Bar?
