MooseKnuckle, Percy Priest, Bass, 3/19, solo - FishNews - 03-20-2009
Went to Priest today to pre-fish for Bass Weekend Series. I went back to the places I've been catching some fish. 1st stop nothing, 2nd stop nothing, 3rd stop finally get a fish in the boat, but it's not the size needed, then I broke one off. Decided to leave there, next stop caught 2 quick 1keeper the other short. Stop 4 nothing. Finally around 1 I gave up on the deep stuff I had been on and went to the upper end. Pulled into a pocket of dirty water, and started catching fish rapidly caught 11 in there, but only 2 were keepers. It was a bunch of males that looked like they had just pulled up in there, as every one of them was pale white. Decided to call it a day, tomorrow I'm going on up river, the water is a lot warmer on that end of the lake, so I'm probably going to try my chences up there this weekend if I can find anymore fish tomorrow. I couldn't get to my best area up there a couple weeks ago, but the water is up about a foot, so I'll try to get in there tomorrow.
