trout at CJ? - forgiven - 03-18-2009
I heard that there are trout biting by the dam at CJ Strike.
Anybody know anything about that? I am trying to decide which end of the Res I want to fish Saturday...

I was up there ear;ier this week, looked like most of the trout fishermen were around the mouth of the narrows.

Thanks for the input. I think I will probably try for crappie first down at the other end of the res perhaps. I heard the trout bite kinda shut down but hey, ya never know......

The recent report on Fish 'n' Hunt says the hot bite for trout is at Jack's Creek. They recommend you troll with either small pop gear or a Rapala from the Air Force ramp, up the Narrows, to Jack's Creek, and concentrate there for trout. Let us know how you do. Mike
