JaSkynyrd, Chicka, LM, but tried for everything, 3/15 - FishNews - 03-16-2009
I had a free afternoon from about 2:30 on so I went to the dam to see if anything was going on. Answer: NOTHING. I started out right next to the dam to see if any skipjack were there, (NONE), then moved down below the railroad bridge to see if I could get some white bass (Zero Caught). I had my cast net with me so I got some threadfin and used them above the dam, nothing even chased them around. I found a chrome blade type lure on the ground below the dam and I could chunk that sucker a pretty good ways right alongside the dam on the top so I threw that for awhile, trying different retrieves and depths and ended up catchign one LM about 2 pounds but lost the lure on the next cast, of course. tried a couple other things and nohting so I went back down to the bottom and tried for another 15 minutes but I was jsut wasting my time so I left. I'll post a picture later.
