I saw that the rain was going to give us a break today so I waited until it quit and went to the nuke. Slow, slow day. I only saw two other fish caught the whole time I was out. I managed to accidentally find 6 fish, only one under 5 pounds and the largest 21-4, but it was s-l-o-w. There was bait all over the area and a couple of the cats were caught right under it. There were so many shad that my new Humminbird 788 went solid red and thought the depth was 11 feet a couple of times!!! I threw the 8' net once and the 10' once, made beautiful circles both times, and each time came up with way more shad in the net than I could lift. The shad were just big enough that they didn't get gilled too badly in the 3/8" mesh net, and of course not at all in the 1/4" mesh net. No pictures since the best was only 21+ emoBig
