Kingfish, Chicamauga, Crappie, 3-11-09, alone - FishNews - 03-13-2009 <br /> Put in at Chesterfrost this am at 8:30 and fished until 1:00 pm. Fished with Panfish Assn. pearl shad colored. Mostly shot docks on the river. All fish were caught on one dock between 9:00 and 10:00. Ended up with 5 Crappie caught (3 Crappie were 9", 1 was 8" and 1 was 12&quot. Fishing about 15' out from the dock ran into a lm green carp that measured 16-1/2". Perfect skillet size. Water temp. was approx. 56*. Dock was in 14' to 16' fow. Crappie were caught about 6' deep.<br /> <br /> On the way home I observed cows laying down...guess that explains why the bite stopped after 10:00 am. The wind layed down mid day also. Kingfish
