Strawberry Reservoir? - pjs - 03-12-2009
We are going to be up in the Strawberry area and wanted to fish it Friday afternoon. Anyone know if that is doable this time of year - ice gone? If so, what would be our best bet to use? Thanks

you could flyfish the river below soldier creek dam but the lake will be frozen till mid to late april in past years. good luck

last year the ice didn't start pulling away until about the 5th of May. Your out of luck there

Hey you might want to try jordanelle if your desperate to lake fish. I've done well wading the points and throwing leach paterns and slooooowly retrieving them. Lots of nice rainbows and a few big browns.
