Enjoyed a great day on the river with a friend from work.Danny was kind enough to take me to a couple of his honey holes which paid off handsomely.We went low tech-12' alum boat no electronics were needed.Kept 10 chunky spots ranging from 2 to 4 lbs. for Danny's wife who suggested he bring some home for supper.Homemade poison tail jigs were the favorite today with green pumpkin/watermelon skirt-trailer combos being the most effective.
