My original partner had a conflict so I hooked up with Honkeytonker. I wanted to run way up River but I backed out at the last minute deciding not to beat myself to death riding 40 miles one way. Should have made the run!. I got a <br />bad habit of trying to stay away from boats while fishing and that was almost impossible to do Sat. Sometimes I recon you just have to get amongst them. We caught two on jerkbait in Grider slough and that was it. We mostly fished backside of river in places I have done good in the past but couldn&#39;t get on nothing. Me and Channing called calf rope around noon deciding to beat the traffic. Thanks guys for having a great TX. Enjoyed ole Honkeytonkers company.
