deep creek ice condition? - jigs - 03-03-2009
i havnt been out there for probly close to 3 weeks and i would like to hit it before ice out but want to make sure the ice is good before i head out. I wouldnt worry if it was on the preston side but it seems to be warmer up there than preston is on most winter days.

i know a couple guys that made seperate trips and said it was still good. Should get cold tonight and get the sides solid, but make sure to take a plank incase. Both the guys i talked to did great one guy had 3 in his group and weighed there 8 biggest and they were 13 lb. The other group caught 2 that were 4 lb a peace. I am going to try to go out sometime this week i think so i will post how i do.
