BBass, CBA Tournament Report, Bass..and more., 2/28/09, Fluke - FishNews - 03-02-2009 Teddy and I had a tough day. Fishing mainly shallow flats with Rattles and jerk Baits. We managed to pick up 4 keepers all day. <br />Well..he did..LOL. I moved a few short ones out of the way and managed to just about have a limit of trash fish! Nevertheless, 4 in the well is better than none. <br /><br />We knew we could get fish in the well and practice the past 2 weeks had proven that. I guess with the 2 fronts comiong through, the fish just lock jawed on us or moved out. We did try to find them in deeper water but no takers. <br /><br />By the end of the day, my trolling mototr was dead! I guess my batteries have seen betters days. (Any suggestions on what to buy???)<br /><br />Just under 10 pounds, we put up a few points and took home a couple of knives, which I'll probably hurt myself with, and Jeff Reed donated his JJ's magic juice to us. That stuff stinks! Thanks Jeff.<br /><br />Next tournament is March 21st. Hope to see eveyone there again!
