Roberts Pond Report - flyfishingfool - 03-01-2009 I fished Roberts pond yesterday from about 3 til 6:30. Not super fast action but I ended up catching quite a few of the little buggers and four trout. I lost three other trout and a ton of perch. Pretty fun. Not a lot of people were catching fish so I had a couple different people come over and ask me what I was using. Funny thing was I wasn't using anything special at all. Also, there was still plenty of ice. I also got checked by IDFG right before I left. I saw him coming so I had my license ready. The whole thing only took about 15 seconds ![]() Tight lines. . . DeeCee [ ![]() [signature] Re: [windriver] Roberts Pond Report - DeeCee - 03-03-2009 Probably not. There are so many in there that they will likely stunt. It would require alot more fishing pressure with every small perch being kept by every fisherman. Not many are willing to do that as 4" perch are not fun to keep and fillet. [frown] Too bad too as I love to catch perch like you do windriver. I really enjoy eating the sweet white flakey meat also.
