Monster Nort - scarlip - 02-27-2009 Here's the monster Northern Jake caught off Trout lake, St. Louis county, MN. 44" 24 lbs, caught on a tip up through a seven inch hole with an 8lb test leader, last weekend. That lake actually contains alot of huge northern, walleye, and bass. I've never fished it in the winter but I have caught plenty of hogs out of there in the summer.
