fly tying stations - Dryrod - 01-25-2009 [center] ![]() [center][inline fts.jpg] [signature] Re: [Dryrod] fly tying stations - macfly55 - 01-25-2009 nice tables.. :-).. like you I recently switched out my folding table for our old computer hutch.. its just a tad smaller.. but has shelves.. have not done a lot at it but I like the simpler setup.. btw.. my very first computer was a ti 99-4a.. made by Texas Instruments.. it was a keyboard that you hooked to a tv. to save a program I had a cassette tape player with a "special" interface cable.. how we have advanced LOL.. I think it was 8k of ram memory but it might have been 16k.. Should see if some museum somewhere would want it. With digital TV now you can not even buy a new TV it will work on. My tying desk is the same one I started tying on. A 1940 vintage corner table. It now is doing double duty as my computer desk. Gotta reach around both sides of the vice to tap away on the keyboard. Have not been tying in a while so the vice is off to the side now. I lost that one a long time ago.. it was replaced by an apple IIe.. and later by a series of pc's down to the laptops I work from now.. my table is idle as well.
