In reality with the trolling motor before, I don't use the oars, with this system I also succeed in fishing standing. Yes, in some photos there are 2 trollings motor, the back it is a 54lb of thrust, while the anterior is an old 24lb. Where I live the temperatures in winter they never go down under the -3 centigrade degrees, I believe to have seen some frozen lakes only during the vacations in mountain. In these days ago very cold and we fish with 4 or 5 centigrade degrees. In Sicily in these days they are almost there 15 degrees. Our problem is that there are many fishermen and few great waters. Looks like you do have room for two batteries, but that would be like 120 more lbs (another person) If you don't use 2 batteries, how long do you get on one? Motive is very simple, meanwhile the pontoon weighs a lot less than a boat, secondarily I use only together the two motors for the long moves, for the fishing I use only anterior trolling. For the ice fishing, the us it is severely forbidden, in the region of the mountains, where the trouts there are, from September up to the end of March it is forbidden any type of fishing.
