McTucker/AF Report 1-03-09 - OvidCreek - 01-04-2009
Well my luck finally failed me, got double skunked on McTucker and AF. Started out fishing McTucker read that F&G planted 1,000 on 11/3 thought I would give it a try. I was at the largest pond by the green porta potty and had zero bites. Perhaps I should have tried a few more ponds. Fished from 2:00-2:45 with zero bites, thought to myself if I was not going to have fish pay attention to me I might as well do it for big trout. Made it to AF by 3:45 and fished to 5:45. Jigged like crazy hoping a monster trout would come by the boat dock near the dam. Nothing[crazy] I knew every report I read was true from AF, i just decided to give it a shot due to the relative closeness to the site I was fishing. Ice was 6' at McTucker and 5' near the boat dock at AF.
