makin my own lure - outlawed - 12-03-2008 i was thinking about making my own lures with theese. there suposed to be squishy. I figure i can boil them up in some fish atractant and bag them. anyone think they will work well for freshwater fishin? I could run a synthetic worm hook thru them or put a treble hook thru the center of them and dangle a small spoon on the back of the insects. The material is suposed to be soft and strechy. I can always test one to see how it responds to heated water to treat them with scent. I'm not realy a fly fisherman type, I'm just goin after panfish, catfish and greentrout.
