Montpelier Res. Blackfoot Ice - OvidCreek - 12-01-2008
I had the slowest fishing at Montpelier Res. in the past 25 years. Usually Thanksgiving is a hot day to go up there and catch some planters; not this year. Using basic fishing methods my son only landed two bows. The water is 10% covered with ice by the dam and will hopefully freeze over soon. On a further note Blackfoot Res. is ice covered in the bays by the Bone Road; it froze between Wednesday and Friday.
