CJ Strike ice fishing - Idahoiceman - 11-02-2008
After fishing for perch last january off the dam at cj strike last year, me and my daughter decided to go over to the cottonwood campground. I was surprised to see it covered in ice when I got over there, and not only was is covered in ice but guys were out there ice fishing. while I was there they caught a decent trout through the ice.
Has anyone ever done any ice fishing at cj strike before? I would think if a guy could get out on the ice in the bruneau arm you might have some good fishing.

I've also watched the ice fishermen on the Bruneau arm. They were fishing for perch, and doing quite well. I can't remember if it was Cottonwood, or Jack's Creek. One of the two. The Fishin' Hole in Bruneau would have the best info for up-to-date reports.
