Lower Provo - Rvrrat - 09-29-2008 I had a few hours before a birthday party on Sunday, so I decided to hit the lower Provo. I started pretty early, quarter after seven or so, and fished until just after 11. There was pretty good action the whole time. I hooked up with quite a few running a pheasant tail through the quicker pockets. I caught a couple of nice ones up against the bank with a hopper. I tricked a couple more to come up for an Adams. I didn't catch anything really big, the biggest was probably 14 in. But they were all pretty fiesty. Not a bad way to start the day. I love finding good fishing spots right near subdivisions or shopping centers. [signature] Re: [SkinnyLynnie] Lower Provo - Rvrrat - 10-22-2008 I mean just above the mouth of Provo Canyon. I haven't ever been any lower than that. I typically fish anywhere from the mouth up to the diversion dam. I find that there are some nice little stretches in that section that aren't too crowded.
