Southern Utah - BaySport - 09-29-2008
Returned from a friend's cabin on Cedar Mountain today. With all the posts about trout fishing lately I thought I would give it a try.What a great trip we had fishing small streams for little trout.

Fall in Southern Utah's Cedar Mountain. The cabin we stayed at can be seen on the right side of the picture. What a beautiful place!

A few of the fish caught in two days of fun. All fish were released to be caught another day.

A breakfast of steak, bacon, hashbrowns, and scrambled eggs with cheese, after a morning of hiking streams and catching fish. I could get used to cabin living!

Awesome! Those are some beautiful trout. That is my favorite style of trout fishing, in creeks you can jump across. Looks like a blast.

[cool]Hey BaySport, very nice looking fish! I have'nt seen brookies like since I last fished the sierras.(too long ago) I would have called in sick to work for a week to stay longer. Very nice view from the cabin.

Thanks guys. It was a blast. Been a long time since I've been creek hopping. Sneaking up to the edge of a creek on hands and knees, tossing a worm in the current , just to catch an eight inch trout. Fishing was great, weather was cool, company enjoyable. Wish I had a couple more days to enjoy the mountain.

] Her parents had a cabin up there in Swains Creek and the trout fishing for Brookies just like those in your pictures was awesome!!! I miss that stream fishing, and the mountain, beautiful place![signature]
