Candlewood Lake, N.End - gdn443 - 09-22-2008
We got out at day break and hit the rock humps on the lake for topwater bite. Saw three nice smallies jump out of the water, but none on our poppers or luckys. Fished weedlines then drop offs and did the dock tricks and still nada. Called it at 1:30 for the skunk. Some fellas had gotten a few doing what we had done, but not for us this day. VT in a few days, hope to leave that skunk here in CT.

Ya, I do one in the spring and again in the fall. I'll have to keep an eye out on that hurricane in PR. May put it off for a week.[frown]
