Report from Weekend - Henrys - robfish - 09-21-2008
My buddy and I fished most the day Friday and Saturday morning. We fished Friday morning and afternoon about 100-200 yards off the Red Rock ramp. We caught 3 hybrids over 5 lbs and a few other good fish. Friday evening and Saturday morning we spent fishing the north shore (off Wild Rose Ramp) 100 yards out or so in about 12-15 feet of water. We caught quite a few fish most in the 2-4lb range. Nothing big but good action. All in all we caught 24 fish.
We were on float tubes and tried many different fly patterns. About 80% of fish were caught on the BS California leech or variations (homemade) of it. The others were caught on the BS electric black. Not much else was getting action.
