Scofield and then some - SBW - 09-21-2008
I spent four days in our cabin at Scofield Reservoir mainly for a deer tag I drew out on. I filled my tag the first night, so I could fly fish some of favorite waters in the area for the remaining days.
I fished everywhere from Scofield to Huntington Canyon. I fished creeks, streams, reservoirs anything that contained water.
I just love this time of year as I caught numerous fish on just about everything. One of my favorite adventures had to be sight fishing the shallows of Electric Lake for monsterous cuts and tigers. I caught multiple cuts 20+ inches and a tiger that was pushing 18". I would stalk the edges of the lake looking for fish chasing minnows. Once I found them, I would throw a big streamer at them and HOLD ON!!
