identifying fish - flexin22s - 09-13-2008 can anyone help me identify this fish? we have had numerous people try and haven't found a real answer. it is a black and gold small fish about 2-3 inches in length. around the gill area is a blueish indigo spot and several streaks of indigo around the fins .any help is appreciated... That being the case and with the dominant coloration that you described would definitely make that a juvenile Goliath Grouper.
