Where are the deer??? - Elkoholic - 08-21-2008 Anyone willing to share some info on the deer hunt? I am looking for a place to hunt on the muzzleloader hunt in the northern region. I have been out scouting as often as I can go, but I have not seen very many deer at all this year. Most of the deer I have spotted are in the city. I'm not looking for specific honey holes or anything, (although I won't turn any away!) just wondering what ranges still have some deer left. So far I have been to Cache, Box Elder, Rich, and Morgan counties but I could probably count all the bucks without removing a shoe. Thanks. That area has the highest Buck to doe ratio in the state as far as general areas go. 56/100 [ ![]() I haven't seen a doe in the area I'm hunting in yet. Now if I could just get close, I could close the deal. [signature] |
