I like to use the Owner #8 Mosquito hooks and just hook it through the tip like a regular plastic for Bass.

You can also hook them through the belly and fish them wacky style.[cool]

No need to Texas rig them. The trout worms are very small.

Put it on your hook at the end of your line. If you are fishing shallow areas then you can rig 2 different ways.

1. Put a bobber about 2 feet up the line from the hook.

2. Put a split shot at 12 to 18 inches away from the hook.

Some of the worms float and others don't.

If you are using the bobber method on a floating type of the power worm, then you will need to add a small splitshot to hold the worm under water.[cool]

Hey bud, being from the north east I fish them a lot. It depends on the fish you are going for and the type of waters you are fishing. I use them in the creeks for trout and smallies and the best way I know is a trout maggot jig head 1/16 oz. or a no. 6 smooth shank hook to keep it snagproof. I suspend it with a cork float about 12-16 in. this tactic always works for me. give it a try. good fishin bud.
