Salmon River, Stanley - Kodiak1 - 08-04-2008
Stanley area of the Salmon is heavily planted, and a great place for kids to fish. Hooked 6 trout in 6 casts. Fish it in the morning, and they love Pautzkes. Saw two played out chinook above the weir on the way up to Custer. A few salmon were still working their way up the stream. Hopefully the sockeye keep showing up. We can't afford to lose this great treasure. Mike
